ABOUT THE FAN CLUB
The Maurice Watts fan club was officially founded on August 6, 2005 by Judy Cook  of Irvington, NJ. After becoming a faithful listener of Maurice's radio show "The Love Zone" for so many years, Judy simply fell in love with what he was doing, "Keeping Real Music Alive". Never before had she been so captivated by a radio personality. After reading his biograpghy on his official website at www.MauriceWatts.com. Judy couldn't believe all of the things this man had done for his listeners, his community, people around world and the entertainment industry. With all of those accolades, she realized that something was missing. It was then that she decided to do something for the man. Reaching out to him, she asked if he would mind if she started a fanclub in his name. Taken by surprise Maurice was honored and granted her the permission. Immediatly Judy recruited a few of her close and dear friends who were more then willing to help her introduce you to what has become known as THE OFFICIAL FAN CLUB OF MAURICE "THE VOICE" WATTS.
Her goal is to have the largest fan club on the internet with members in every city, state and country around the world for "The Man, The Voice, The Legend" Maurice Watts.

As fate would have it Katrina entered into the life of Maxine, and life was never the same. Being without electricity for eight days, and not going to work for six of those days, and phone service almost non existent, there was no way to communicate with anyone. The first day back at work, of course, she logged into the chat room. Tears welled in her eyes at the response she got....everyone was concerned, they had been trying to find her, find out about her, they just wanted to know how she had fared in the storm. Wow!! Adequate words would not come to let everyone know just how much their concern meant, was appreciated, and helped. Little by little, more and more, Maxine saw just how dedicated and giving and accommodating Maurice was, how he did whatever he could for the fans....that was the incredible part...he was always thinking about the fans, wanting, no, needing to make them happy. His pleasure was their pleasure. So, when the talk started about the 23rd anniversary celebration, Maxine decided to attend, with everything that had happened with Katrina and the aftermath, she needed a "break".
Then came the magical moment...when Maxine and Maurice finally met. When she told him who she was, that look of surprise, that sound of surprise in his famous "hheeeyyyy", and that big, warm hug and kiss on the cheek, he was really surprised and happy to see her, there in the station, in New York, all the way from Mississippi, to hang out with him....it was priceless.
From that magical moment, a special bond was formed, unbeknownst to the both of them at the time. Maxine thought that once she got back to Mississippi, she would pick up where she left off, but that was not to be. She was addicted..she had contracted "zonitis". Through logging in every day, Maxine couldn't help but see, even more and more, Maurice's dedication, and she decided to join the crusade, make Maurice's journey, her journey. She decided to make Maurice's dream, her dream. She decided to make Maurice's fight, her fight, which meant that when Judy could no longer hold the President seat in the fanclub, Judy's goal became Maxine's goal.
Maxine proudly stepped into the shoes of Judy, to carry on the dream that she started. It felt like "natural procession", like it was supposed to happen. It is Judy's goal to have the largest fan club on the internet with members worldwide, while Maxine's goal to help the world wide membership see Maurice as she does, to become as loyal and dedicated as she became, to join in the cause and make all of Maurice's ventures successes beyond even his wildest dreams!
